Wo-Ander “/Woh-ändər/”
RMPA Symposium - October 15-18, 2025 in Reno, Nevada
Welcome to the Wo-Ander Symposium, where we invite you to embark on a journey of exploration, inspiration, and collaboration within the vibrant world of printmaking. The vision is simple yet profound: to ignite the flame of wonder in the hearts and minds of our printmaking community, fostering a sense of curiosity, inclusivity, and connection.
As we gather to explore the wonders of printmaking, we encourage participants to wonder in thought, pondering the endless possibilities of the medium. We invite them to wander in the landscape, drawing inspiration from the natural world that surrounds us. And most importantly, we urge them to Wo-Ander in materials, experimenting fearlessly with new techniques and approaches, and pushing the boundaries of their creativity.
Join us at the Wo-Ander Symposium as we come together to celebrate the magic of printmaking, forging connections, fostering creativity, and inspiring wonder in all who participate. Together, let us embark on a journey of discovery, imagination, and boundless artistic potential as we Wo-Ander.
Accessibility and Diversity Statement
At the heart of the Wo-Ander Symposium lies a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. We believe that every participant, regardless of background or experience, should feel welcomed and empowered to engage fully in all aspects of the event. With care and thoughtfulness guiding our planning process, we ensure that all events and materials are accessible to everyone, allowing each individual to participate and contribute meaningfully to the symposium experience.
Our symposium offers a diverse range of attainable opportunities for both novice and professional printmakers to immerse themselves in the art form. Through exchanges, residencies, and collaborations, participants have the chance to learn, grow, and create alongside fellow artists, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for artistic development.
Central to the core of the Wo-Ander Symposium is a commitment to diversity and inclusion. We recognize the rich tapestry of voices and perspectives within the printmaking community and strive to amplify those voices through our programming. From our lineup of guest speakers to the artists featured in exhibitions and demonstrations, diversity is celebrated and embraced at every turn.
